It is getting so tough to analyze how google rank sites these days ! google is not like before adding more sophesticated filter , changing its Algo daily just to confuse webmasters who follow its new serp positioning strategy so what would be top issues for any seo to consider , the below are important issue that it require to be taking care of first !

1. Picking strategic keywords.
2. Making sure these strategic keywords appear in the crucial locations on web pages.

3. Including lots of relevant text content in the body of the HTML page.

4. Avoiding image map links - some search engines can’t follow these - use HTML hyperlinks instead.

5. Avoiding frames - some search engines can’t follow framed links.

6. Avoiding dynamically generated pages - if pages are generated via CGI or database-delivery, it is expected that some of the search engines will not be able to index them. Consider creating static pages whenever possible, perhaps using the database to update the pages, not to generate them on the fly. Also, avoiding symbols in URLs, especially the symbol, as most search engines will not be able to read past these, and will not be able to index that page.

7. Using Meta Tags (including tags on images).

8. Including a reciprocal links page.

9. Including a site index / map page in plain HTML.

10. Submitting site to search engines via manual submissions and paid inclusion services, but avoiding unwittingly submitting to the same search engine database, and getting site banned from its index.

11. Remembering to submit the site to the major directories such as Yahoo and relevant minor directories.

12. Not relying on automated technology, it may get pages banned (e.g. Cloaked pages, IP redirects, meta-refresh, auto submissions etc).

13. It is not better to expect overnight success, the longer it takes time for optimization, the better the results.

14. It may seem easy to do in-house, but it will work out cheaper and much more effective using a specialist search engine marketing firm, who are constantly researching the market.

15. Use headings as h1, h2 because search engines interpret headline text as more important.

16. Bolded text is also considered more important by the search engines. Bolding the primary keyword phrase 1-3 times on the page is a good way to alert the engines to the phrases prominence and importance.

17. Image alt tags should contain a brief text description of the photo/image.

Amazing Grace - Amazing Movie

Posted by admin in May 30th 2008

Loading ... Loading ...

It is the 20 year long chronicle of the fight that Wilberforce put up to reform the inhuman trafficking of slaves from every quarter of the African continent. The film would leave anybody with a heart and only half a conscience challenged by its powerful humanity.

Wilberforce is played by Ioan Gruffudd a Welch thespian known for his part in the Hornblower series and his role as Pip in the huge BBC production of Great Expectations. His role is played convincingly and with inundating conviction. It is fitting that Ioan (pronounced Yo-an) should play the part of Wilberforce who saw nothing but defeat in the parliament year after year. One of the quotes Ioan is most noted for saying is “They say the most successful people are the ones who have failed more than they have succeeded.”

Other great victories and reforms were eventually made by Wilberforce that are equally impressive although they are not part of the film. Wilberforce did much to improve the treatment of prisoners of war and was responsible for creating organizations for the prevention of cruelty to animals. He helped to improve conditions in hospitals, created better conditions for the poor and crafted the means to aid the failing societal system of India all in the latter years of his life.

A wonderful resource for educators and history students is available from amazinggracemovie.com. A downloadable PDF file outlines the life and work of Wilberforce, a timeline of events and a very detailed history of the song “Amazing Grace” penned by Wilberforce’s mentor John Newton.

The actors and producers were not afraid to make known their understanding that Wilberforce and almost all who stood with him in his cause were Christians. The film clearly shows that it was their faith in Christ that compelled them to seek an end to the cruelty of slavery. They make many references to God and their dependence on him to aid them in their cause. References to Jesus Christ are not hidden and adherence and obedience to the scriptures is seen as part and parcel to their private and public lives.

Whether we like it or not every movie good or bad has a message connected to it, a philosophy or perhaps a philosophy of life. That message may be vigorously put forth or only subtly intimated. Amazing Grace puts forth several messages and it begs at least one very pertinent question especially for Americans.

The primary message seems to be that true Christianity calls for social action to accompany faith and obedience to God. That can mean anything from getting out to vote or taking a proactive stance for or against a cause or a much needed change to benefit a community, state or the entire nation.

Americans tend to throw in the towel when it becomes difficult to see anything being accomplished by our august body politic. Elections have been won by indifference which put people in power that should never have been. That indifference is often reflected in the general lack of political cognizance many of us display. As an example not long ago a poll concluded that almost fifty percent of Americans polled thought that Hezbollah was a friendly ally to the United States. If asked to define something as simple as the difference between a liberal and a conservative you may get more answers than you bargained for.

Between the antics and upheaval of the ACLU and a barrage of all new anti Christian voices it may be the most important time in our history for Christians to awake out of their political haze and get active. There is much at stake.

A second message the movie puts forth can hardly go un-noticed. Almost every significant move forward in the deep fabric of civilization was driven by Christian principles as derived from the Bible. The social status of women, better care for the sick, the poor and the outcast are all predicated on the strong teachings of Christ regarding showing mercy to even the lowest of mankind. The Crusades and the inquisitions stand alone and do not reflect the true teachings of Christ. Check closely and you will see they weren’t predicated or based on the Word of God.

A third important message easily derived from the film is that some victories require much more than a single battle. In real warfare it is often a series of victories and defeats with the enduring and most highly motivated armies coming out ahead even if they were not the most powerful to start with.

When the movie begins the parliament has a circus like air and the seriousness of Wilberforce’s contentions are scoffed at by all. After years of pounding, pummeling and persistence hardly anyone in the British Parliament would dare not to take him seriously. He may have grown only slightly more eloquent with the years but it was not his spit and polish that finally won the day.

The British can take pride for producing such a remarkable character and statesmen but for America the film raises a rather obvious question. Where are the films about the great Christian statesmen and founding fathers of this country? Perhaps even harder is the question of who has the guts to even propose such a film in the present climate of denial about our Christian founding principles?

It has been said often that William Wilberforce was in his time the very conscience of the British Parliament. More of note is what guided the conscience of Mr. Wilberforce. It is summarized by the very scriptures that William Wilberforce took as seriously as everything else he believed.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2: 3-5

A bead is a small, decorative object that is pierced for threading or stringing. Alternatively plastic beads may be molded onto a Thread during manufacturing. Beads range in size from under a millimeter to over a centimeter in diameter. Glass, plastic, and stone are probably the most common materials, but beads are also made from bone, horn, ivory, metal, shell, pearl, coral, gemstones, polymer clay, metal clay, resin, synthetic minerals, wood, ceramic, fiber, paper, and the seeds of the Bead tree. A pair of beads made from Nassarius shells that are approximately 100,000 years old are thought to be the first known examples of jewellery.
Beaded jewelry refers to the jewelry made by using one or more of the different types of beads. They may woven together by a string or adhered to surfaces depending on the designed that one wishes to create. Exquisite beaded jewelry is to be found on the market.
Treasures of handmade Beaded Jewelry culled from different corners of the world abound. We find different regions; cultures and ages have had their own distinctive style of making beaded jewelry. From simple grace to ornate brilliance – the diversity of beaded jewelry is endless. An array of elegant beaded jewelry, handcrafted from glass, shells, plastic, metal, in fascinating colors, are available allover the world.
Beads can be strung together in any number of combinations to create different objects. Most of the times we create ornamental items like bracelets, earrings, and so on. Accomplished beaders are known to create highly complex bead items like multi-strand necklaces and complete ornament sets.
Beads come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes and styles. Some well known types include: Delica beads (cylindrical and very symmetric), opaque beads (non-transparent, single color), donut beads (donut-shaped beads in various colors), Aurora Borealis beads (multicolored, also clear or opaque), galvanized beads (with a metal coating), seed beads (small beads that make the body of the ornament or that fill the spaces between the bigger beads), transparent beads, silver lined or gold lined beads, matte finish (dull coating) beads and more.
Beads are made from almost any possible material including stone, glass, metal, wood, semi-precious and precious stones. Select the materials based upon the design and the item that you are planning to make. When selecting beads, look for uniformity in the finishing and the ease of stringing them together as the main factors in your purchase.

Google Dreams

Posted by admin in May 30th 2008

Loading ... Loading ...

Google is neither bad nor good it is only a vehicle and for the most part it does what it is supposed to do very well. To the average Joe it is a darned good search engine. To webmasters, online business enterprises and the like it is a morphing complex and ever changing behemoth whose every move must be carefully tracked studied and considered before making any decision to do with online commerce or any major form of web communications.

SEO (search engine optimization) has become the single most important body of knowledge in the cyber world, maybe even the whole world! This is the science of website promotion. The most basic elements are search engine rankings, keywords and advertising. Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines require pretty much the same things as Google in order to be successful but Google is the undisputed champ at the moment.

Google cannot be faulted for running its business like a business but as with so many other giants of industry the human element starts to disappear in almost equal and direct proportion to its own grandiosity.

More then ever warnings are trumpeted about the fatal errors involved in not following the Google guidelines for optimization. The wrong keywords, the wrong number of links, the wrong kind of tags and other elements of website promotion can spell sudden death to any site.

As a writer I have run up against a few of Google’s potential shoot me downs. To my chagrin it is a software program that decides my fate and not a real person.

I publish articles all over the internet and by checking sites and data bases that host my articles I can ascertain that about two or three hundred thousand people have read my work and it is increasing daily. I gleefully submitted articles to any decent article base I could find. I always kept in mind that it was the message I was writing that was important to get out to as many people as possible. After all it is those people that are most important of all, I reasoned.

Now if my articles show up in too many places I can get the search engine axe. I can’t deny that getting the articles out was always my primary goal. I have no product to sell and I’m not hoping for fame but I still have to watch my step. I can readily understand that there are thousands of outfits that are driven by greed or malice and would ride on the backs of the search engines to any place they could. But I doubt that a robot or software program knows the difference between me and them.

I have often pondered what I would do about all this if I were the CEO of Google. The answer always seemed obvious. I wouldn’t change the entire direction of Google but I would add something to insure that it could not lose its human element. I would create a department not as a mere appendage but as full blown arm of the company.

My department would be constantly searching for websites that show remarkable qualities. Sites with exceptionality would be chosen and become part of a feature known as “Google’s Choice.” Great web design would be on the list but not limited to that. Real humans would search for not so great designs but with obvious fledgling intuitiveness and our department would offer and provide help to those sites to bring them up to the highest levels.

The department would seek out sites with important content. Sites that contribute to the entire web experience, to their particular area of concern or perhaps to the nation or the entire world at large.

No one would need to apply but rather we would apply ourselves to searching out and approaching these sites. We would develop them, contribute to them and promote them. Their success would be our reward and no more as long as their success was beneficial in some way to the entire web community.

Some mistakes would be made and it would require a willingness to experiment a bit but the rewards would be so great. The bad rap the internet gets now with all the porn and trash might at least be offset by such a truly humanitarian endeavor.

One of the most wildly successful books of the decade has been Rick Warren’s, The Purpose Driven Life. It has been said that this book is not the most important book of the decade but behind it was promotional machinery that could have been equally as successful with a book about raising hogs. Just for the shear heck of it our new department would try to simulate this kind of success. Maybe we could take Martha’s little home and family pics site and turn it into the most marvelous internet gallery online. Why climb that mountain, to borrow a phrase, “because it is there.”

The present internet legacy is a draw between a good international business platform and a river of scams, schemes and scum. The bottom line is that it would help an internet giant to make the internet itself a giant contributor to the world at large. If I were the CEO of Google the new “Google’s Choice” would be the first order of business for me.

Herbs Essential A Great Food !

Posted by admin in May 30th 2008

Loading ... Loading ...

Herbs have been with humans since the dawn of recorded time and before. They have been used in a wide variety of functions and new uses continue to be found for them in the present day. Depending on who you ask, there are anywhere from 40 to 60 herbs to choose from and most of them are very simple to grow and use.

Different herbs serve different functions. The aromatic herbs, for instance, are grown purely for their scent. You can use oils from these herbs to make candles, perfumes and other cosmetic and skin care products.

Of course the variety of herb that most people are familiar with is the culinary herb. In fact, the culinary herb is the only variety that most people are aware of. Most gardeners grow a few varieties of culinary herbs but they have to be careful not to plant in the same place the following spring as some herbs are annuals and will appear without needing to replant. Some of the more popular of the culinary herbs are basil, dill, and chives.

The ornamental herbs are planted only because they look beautiful and you can create exquisite fresh or dried arrangements with them. They are usually found in and amongst the flowers in a flower garden.

Finally, some herbs are considered medicinal and are used to treat a variety of ailments to this very day. While not necessarily embraced by the Western medical community, herbs remain an important remedy to ailments in many cultures and their effectiveness is still being studied by scientists.

The culinary herbs are most popular because without them our food would not taste so good. We use herbs to create marinades. Without herbs it would be difficult to get that subtle, but distinct, flavor that enhances many dishes. Herbs are as essential to cooking as any of the other ingredient. No wonder, people keep herbs on hand, even if they cannot afford them. They would rather grow them in their garden than do without them.

Growing these herbs in your garden is an easy task given that you take some precautions. You must make a layout of your garden and know what grows where. There are herbs that are annual, perennial and biennial. They would have different growing cycles. Thus, it is all the more important to know what grows where. Plan your garden according to its growing cycle.

When we say culinary herbs are easy to grow it is not a fact without base. They do great in soil that is drained but is still fairly fertile. These herbs do equally well both outdoors as well as indoors. So no worries even if you have limited outdoor space. You must take care not to plant these herbs too deeply in the soil. This hampers their growth. When you need a particular herb pluck it from your little garden but remember to do so in the morning. This will ensure you get the maximum concentration of precious oil present in the herb.

Are Jeans Fashionable?

Posted by admin in May 30th 2008
1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (No Ratings Yet)
Loading ... Loading ...

The term ‘fashion’ refers to a dominant mode of expression. Although the term ‘fashion’ can apply to a wide range of fields, from interior design and architecture to economics and technology, many people associate fashion with clothing. What a certain culture understands by fashion is goodness and beauty. What goes by these criteria will therefore be fashionable. What doesn’t fit in that particular mode of expression will be considered unfashionable. When used, the word ‘fashion’ usually has a positive meaning and is frequently associated with the concepts of style and glamour. However, when referring to a person as being materialistic or trendy, the term ‘fashion’ has a negative connotation.

The idea of making a statement through fashion goes back to the sixteenth century in Europe, so we can say that fashion is more than four centuries old. Still, what most people understand by fashion - expression through clothes – only began to express itself in the eighteenth century on the old continent.

Fashion varies depending on many factors, among which the most important are time and society. How fashion changes over time is more than obvious. Young and people have distinct concepts of fashion. Their perceptions of fashion are not interchangeable, as everyone knows it would be ridiculous to see an old man dressed in a young man’s clothes and the other way around. There are also multiple perceptions of fashion within a society, according to age, occupation, generation, social class and so on.

The most prominent feature of fashion is that it is constantly subjected to change. Not too many people regard this constant change as productive, since it encourages consumers to purchase things unnecessarily, just out of the pleasure of constantly experiencing something interesting and new.

As far as clothes are concerned, how can we decide what is fashionable what is unfashionable? How do we decide what to wear? Do we go by the latest fashion trends and become fashion victims, or do we stick to what we know looks good on us? Tough choice! The idea of fashion in the 21st century refers mostly to high-heeled shoes, handbags, sports suits, designer jeans and ripped jeans.

Jeans are a choice for many people, as they are easy to suit, practical and comfortable. Although most of the jeans are made from denim, they may also come in a variety of other fabrics. Jeans are most popular with teenagers, but they are now gaining popularity with other age categories as well. At their origin, the jeans were work clothes, but they began to be worn outside work places at the middle of the 20th century when they became popular among other social categories.

When most people think of jeans, they think of a casual way of dressing. The choice of color and style is a very wide one. Nowadays jeans come in so many styles that it is virtually impossible not to find at least one pair of jeans that will suit you perfectly. But jeans don’t vary on color alone. There are also various types of jeans according to the fits. The jeans fits can go from straight or loose to slim, baggy or skinny, from high-waisted to superlow-waisted.

One thing’s for sure, jeans will never be unfashionable. A certain style will always be developed in order to keep up with the latest trends in fashion. So, if you want to be fashionable, but also comfortable, a pair of jeans is a safe choice.
